The Dynamic Communications Program

The Dynamic Communications Program was designed to enhance key interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills as defined by the Conference Board of Canada in its "Employability Skills Profile." It is an eleven-part program, delivered in eight half-day sessions, usually an eight to sixteen-week period. The Dynamic Communications Program can be tailored to meet the experience level and learning needs of a wide variety of employee groups.

Program components

The program begins by building basic public speaking skills, then moves on to address how to:

  • Develop and present high-impact presentations;
  • Understand personality profiles;
  • Interview for all of the information you need;
  • Network with impact;
  • Negotiate for win/win;
  • Conduct effective meetings that people want to attend;
  • Build energized and committed teams;
  • Deal with angry people;
  • Plan events with pizzazz.

Students learn problem-solving, team building, leadership, how to use appropriate humour, story telling, magic, the effective use of props and other techniques in a wide variety of business tasks and situations. Throughout the program, participants get many opportunities to practice their newly acquired skills.
